Conforms: WCAG 2.2 Level AA Keyboard Accessible Light, Dark & High-Contrast Modes

1. Our Commitment and Standard

We want everyone, including people with visual, hearing, motor, speech and cognitive disabilities, to be able to use this Site. Our standard is the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

Conformance status

Fully conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, meaning the content meets every Level A and AA success criterion without exceptions. The claim covers every public web page of hemasai.com, including the forms, menus, dialogs and the administration sign-in page. It does not cover the downloadable documents, third-party services or the owner-only administration area listed in section 3.

Method: a self-evaluation completed on 2 October 2026. Every public page is opened in a real browser at phone and desktop widths, in light and dark themes, and checked with axe-core against WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA; reflow at 320 CSS pixels, text spacing, and focus visibility are checked directly, including the menus, chat assistant, accessibility menu and forms. This check runs before every release and must find no issues. Criteria that tools cannot judge, such as keyboard operation, focus order, labels, timing and motion, were reviewed by hand.

Accessibility laws in the countries we serve include: India, Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016; United States, Americans with Disabilities Act; Canada, Canadian Human Rights Act, and provincial laws such as the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act; Australia, Disability Discrimination Act 1992; United Arab Emirates, Federal Law No. 29 of 2006 on the Rights of People of Determination, as amended; Qatar, Law No. 2 of 2004 on Persons with Special Needs.

2. Accessibility Features

Keyboard

Navigation, menus, dialogs, tabs and forms are designed to be operated with Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, Escape and the arrow keys.

Visible focus

Interactive elements show a visible focus indicator, and focused elements are never hidden behind the header, the cookie banner or the floating buttons.

Contrast and themes

Text is designed to meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 (3:1 for large text) in both light and dark themes.

Structure

Pages use semantic headings, landmarks and labels so assistive technologies can announce them.

Zoom and motion

Content reflows at 320 CSS pixels and with increased text spacing. Animations, smooth scrolling and the events slideshow stop when your system asks for reduced motion, and the slideshow has a pause button.

Opening animation

The home page's opening video has no sound, can be paused or skipped (Escape also skips) and is described for screen readers. With reduced motion it shows as a still image, and if it cannot play, the animated logo takes its place.

Forms

Every field has a visible label, errors are announced and described in text, and verification codes can be pasted or filled in automatically.

Adjustable display

The accessibility menu offers larger text, higher contrast and a more readable font.

3. Known Limitations

  • The Google Translate widget, loaded only if you ask for a translation, is provided by Google and is outside our control.
  • Booking a meeting opens Cal.com, a third-party scheduling service outside our control. You can instead email us to arrange a time.
  • Downloadable documents (such as PDF whitepapers) are outside the conformance claim and may not be fully tagged for screen readers. We will provide an accessible alternative on request.
  • The administration area behind the sign-in page is used only by the Site owner and is outside the conformance claim; the public sign-in page is within it. Sign-in itself is handled by Amazon Cognito.
  • Images added to articles rely on the description the author enters; if one is missing or unclear, please tell us.
  • The conformance claim rests on our own evaluation. The Site has not yet had an independent audit with screen-reader users.

4. Technical Approach

The Site relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WAI-ARIA, and is designed for current versions of major browsers and assistive technologies. It may not work fully in older browsers.
